I work in a building where hundreds of scientists, physicists and engineers toil to improve measurement methods and make more accurate measurements.
As it turns out, some things can’t be measured. The stunning beauty of the sun setting, daily, over the drab, gray concrete government building serves as a reality check. It’s a perfect reminder that while our work has value, we need to pay attention to the more important things in life and keep our ambitions, egos and desires in check.
